Walgreen just opened up on Spring Garden Street in Greensboro, NC a year ago. This Walgreen is a free-standing store. Pharmacies are everywhere around town and different locations. This Walgreen has a great location. It is right by campus and other student apartments. It's also on the busy Spring Garden and Aycock street so drivers always pass it. There is competition right down the road though. CVS pharmacy is also on Spring Garden Street. Walgreen has a better advantage because it is on the corner of Aycock and Spring Garden. It is easier for drivers coming from either direction. Also the parking is great. They have a good size parking facing spring garden. The entrance and exit for this pharmacy is very accessible as well. One of them goes to Spring Garden street and the other goes to Aycock Street. The major disadvantage would be competition. There is a fellow competitor CVS two stores down and also a gas station right next to it. Overall, I think it's a great location despite the fact there are competition.
